NRL Insight / Nine Newsbreak

Pumptheory has been working with NineMSN to produce iOS applications and also develop their in-house capabilities. In addition to planning, designing and implementing software, Pumptheory has been providing training and mentoring to NineMSN staff and has also been assisting with recruiting further staff and contracters.

The first iOS application to be released from the pipeline was the Nine Newsbreak iPhone application featuring iPhone-specific news recordings and other short-form video. Nine Newsbreak quickly became 4 1/2 star rated as well as number one free app in the iTunes store News category and number two in the overall category.

The second app followed quickly, being able to make good code reuse between the two projects. NRL Insight averages a five star rating and features live scores, videos and exclusive content from Andrew Johns.

Apmasphere Field Agent

Apmasphere Field Agent is the mobile application component of a suite of property management products. By property managers for property managers, Apmasphere suite products have become indispensible to property managers Australia-wide.

Pumptheory has provided all Apmasphere's iOS development capacity since July 2010 and released the first public version of Field Agent to the app store in September 2010. Regular improvemets have followed and new functionality as well as new apps are in the pipeline.

Dolly Drive

Dolly Drive is your Time Machine backup, stored in the cloud.

Pumptheory designed and developed the Mac client application as well as the OS X client integration tools. Pumptheory's server software and scaling experienced was also leveraged in the design and implementation of the back end integration.

In addition to in-house expertise, other specialists were introduced into the Dolly Drive project by Pumptheory. Dolly Drive is now well on its way to meeting the milestones required for further funding release.

Dolly Drive was launched at the 2011 MacWorld expo and took out the prestigious Mac|Life best Mac Application and overall best of show awards. Pumptheory would like to thank the whole Dolly Drive crew for trusting us with such an exciting product.

Lovethreads

Pumptheory designed and implemented ecommerce software for Lovethreads that integrated stock management, customer orders and social networking features before the social network!

Project for Public Spaces

The Project for Public Spaces works with both the government and private sectors in the United States to consult on and design public spaces that build stronger communities.

Pumptheory was commissioned to extend the OpenACS web framework used to implement PPS's next generation website. Extensions included the content management system and custom widgets for the image management system.

Pharmaceutical International Network

Pumptheory was contracted by the Pharmacy Faculty of Sydney University to implement and manage a collaborative website aimed at fostering global communication within the pharmaceutical research community.
